FAQs
The Advanced Allergy method is needle-free, pain-free, and long-lasting.
Phoenix Best Treatments for Allergies
Our clinic can test IgE and IgG food sensitivity reactions through the blood. While we do offer these gold standards of allergy testing, we predominantly use our biofeedback system to help us identify which triggers are causing a stress response. More below:
Our biofeedback technology does not test or diagnose allergies directly- we test the nervous system’s perception of different substances and whether it is ‘stressed’ by a substance or ‘not stressed’ by a substance. The technology is able to create a digital signal mimicking your allergy or sensitivity triggers. The digital signal of the ‘allergen’ is not strong enough to stimulate an allergy reaction (or anaphylaxis). We know that you are ‘stressed’ by a substance as this causes temporary muscle weakness that will be apparent to you and our staff (a form of Applied Kinesiology). You will be amazed at how your body reacts when we identify a symptom trigger!
We are able to test for hundreds of substances related to foods, seasonal triggers, and environmental substances (animals, chemicals).
Some of the common irritants our patients inquire about:
- All types of foods: wheat, dairy, sugar corn, nightshades, gluten/gliadin and many more.
- Every type of chemicals in foods: latex, sulfates, nitrates, histamines, oxalates and more.
- All types of airborne substances: pollens, weeds, trees, animal dander, pollution and more.
Yes. If your nervous system is responding negatively to a specific substance, chances are very high that we will find it and be able to help calm it so that symptoms associated with it are reduced/resolved.
Our nervous system has significant ‘say’ in whether our immune system overreacts to a substance or not. By using modern pain-free techniques like biofeedback and red light laser, we train your nervous system to calm its stress response thereby quelling the allergy symptoms associated with it.
Each session takes approximately 15 minutes and is safe and non-invasive.
First, we apply the digital signal of the allergen to your body which causes a stress response at the nervous system level. This is a painless process.
Next, we use a chiropractic percussor to relax your nervous system and guide you in some deep breathing. This is a very soothing feeling to your body. It also decreases sympathetic tone and increases parasympathetic tone (a good thing!) in the nervous system.
Finally, we use our class 3R red light laser over acupuncture points to increase endorphins in your central and peripheral nervous systems.
The number of sessions needed varies from person to person and is based upon the severity of your condition. The length of time you’ve experienced symptoms and your overall health are also determining factors.
- Mild condition/children- 5-15 treatments
- Moderate condition- 15-25 treatments
- Severe condition- 25-35+ treatments
Regarding how soon you will feel better: This is the hardest question for us to answer. Generally speaking, most patients begin to experience a reduction or notable change in symptoms within the first 5-10 treatments. Those who have outdoor seasonal allergies may need 10-15 treatments before they feel better.
This treatment is safe because we aren’t exposing clients to the actual proteins or trigger substances in their allergens – just the digital biofeedback signal.
You are not ingesting, breathing, or having any substance pass a body barrier. Therefore you will not have an allergic reaction.
You can come in twice a day (max treatment sessions allowed), 2-3 times a week (recommended) or even twice a month until all your stressors are cleared up. We don’t recommend going more than 2 weeks between treatments.
Most people don’t feel any different after a session; However, some (20%) may experience fatigue that will subside after a nap or good night’s sleep.
Very rarely (5%), a patient may feel a short worsening of their symptoms and/or mildly ill similar to if they were detoxifying (aches, pains, headache, loose stool). This effect passes within 24-48 hours.
These are all signs that your body is responding to our therapy and adjusting to a new “normal.”
Absolutely! The older we get the more sensitivities and symptoms we typically develop, so we enjoy helping kids and babies so they don’t have as much allergy symptom trouble later in life.
We wish we could. Unfortunately, there are too many variables out of our control that can cause people to develop new or recurrent allergies such as medication, dietary habits, lifestyle choices, illnesses, car accidents, etc.
We do not treat anaphylaxis. We have used our allergy sessions on anaphylactic people strictly for accidental exposure and in an attempt to reduce symptoms to other allergens. Someone with anaphylactic allergies should ALWAYS carry their emergency medicines and avoid their triggers.
The proper answer is “no” and every physician should reply to you with this answer. Through the steps we utilize in our clinic you can certainly gain health and reduce or eliminate your allergy symptoms!
Advanced Allergy Relief & Wellness Center does not contract with an insurance company. However, for those who have out of network benefits, you may be able to file for reimbursement on the initial consultation. If you have an FSA or HSA, you should be able to apply our services towards this.
What a great question! The answer depends entirely on how you are currently living your life through diet, nutrition and exercise.
We highly recommend that you do the best you can by eliminating genetically modified foods, eating an organic paleo-mediterannean diet, doing regular detox work, exercising and maintaining a positive outlook in life. We will be happy to advise you on these issues and steps in much more detail during your time at Advanced Allergy.
Please note, the above advice is recommended and ideal but not necessary for our treatment to have a positive impact on your life.
